The Craft Tents

Step into the Medieval Village and the fair stops being a show and starts being a place. Pavilions house working craftspeople — carving, weaving, turning, tooling — and the everyday business of a medieval settlement plays out tent to tent.

It is the quieter, slower counterpart to the combat ring: somewhere to wander, ask questions, and watch a thing being made from start to finish. Photographers love this corner for the same reason — the light, the texture, the unhurried hands.

There is no fixed schedule here. The Craft Tents reward a slow lap, ideally between two louder moments like the noon parade and the afternoon contests.
